John S. Peraino
John Peraino holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with an Emphasis in trumpet from Trenton State College. In 1975 he received a Master of Music, trumpet performance emphasis also from Trenton State College. Mr. Peraino studied with the late Fred Ranieri, and Donald Benedetti, formerly with the Goldman Band in New York City.
Mr. Peraino plays trumpet with the Greater Trenton Symphony Orchestra (since 1968) and is principal trumpet with the Boheme Opera Orchestra. Mr. Peraino has performed with the Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, Princeton Pro Musica, Newtown Chamber Symphony, Bene King, in Carnegie Hall with John Lithgow, and with many other orchestras and performers too numerous to mention.
Mr. Peraino recently retired from the West Windsor-Plainsboro Board of Education, where he was the district Director of Technology. he also holds a New Jersey Supervisor certification, Principal Certification and Chief School Administrator certification, as well as an Instructional Computer Coordinator certificate from Trenton State College. He formerly taught instrumental music in the Willingboro School District for 27 years and was the district Computer Coordinator for 6 Years.
Mr. Peraino resides in the Hamilton, NJ area and enjoys golf and sports cars as a hobby.
