Brian Woodward

Brian Woodward holds a Bachelor in Music from the college of New Jersey.  His major instrument was trumpet and his teachers were Jim Stubbs and George Rabbi.  A native of New Jersey, Mr. Woodward grew up in Union where he started private lessons at the age of 10 with Jack Traeger.  In High School he was a member of the Governor’s School of the Arts, All state Band and Orchestra, and The All Eastern Orchestra. 

Mr. Woodward is a music teacher at the Community Middle School in the West Windsor Plainsboro School District where he has been teaching for the past ten years.  Along with teaching in public school Mr. Woodward conducts a brass ensemble as well as a wind symphony for The Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey.  He enjoys playing in and with several groups around the area.  These groups include The Eastern Wind Symphony, The Trenton Symphony, The Delaware Valley Philharmonic, The Princeton Festival, The Newtown Chamber Orchestra, The Nassau Brass, The Appalachian Brass and finally the Trenton Brass Quintet Plus 1.
